My papa….93 years younger shooting in his 48th International Super Shoot. It would have been his 50th but Covid had other plans. He’s shot competitively for over 68 years; that’s dedication! He’s made so many good friends, lost a lot of good friends but he’s still entertaining his buds with his Dad jokes. I’m so proud of you dad, no one can call you a quitter!

After being admitted to the hospital with a blood pressure of 195/85 and an expensive MRI that shows no issues (thank God)…..she’s found the best therapy; petting Reese. Studies show that petting a dog for 15 minutes can lower your BP 10% and lowers stress hormone cortisol as well. Treatment cost? Free. Not only free, we have a happy dog as well.

I’m not a doctor, I just play one on TV.

Who doesn’t love nice surprises? Met my dear friend April for coffee and she had a gift for me; a vintage sequin clutch (which I’ll use when I take jewelry across state lines) and a pair of her handmade ear bobs. She makes these one of a kind pieces out of vintage tins, this is a wee powder tin that originally sold for 50 cents, the flip sides contain vintage tin type photographs. Original. Mine. Color me surprised. Thank you April 💋

This lovely young lady here made her grand entrance into the world on the day of the big storm; January 26, 1978. It was a harried drive to the hospital by my brother-in-law Tim and Arica arrived 2 hours after we checked in. I don’t know what her rush was; we were trapped at the hospital for days.

You make me so proud; you’re as lovely on the inside as you are on the outside. You’re my buddy and my daughter, I couldn’t ask for more. I love you with all my heart Arica, have a wonderful 🎂birthday!
