Guess what Broken Arrow!?!
For the first time in over a year, I will be back at the Rose District Farmers Market!

TOMORROW/Saturday morning I will be there just in time for the cold weather.
❄️ I had a little too much fun the last couple winters making way too many beanies/stocking caps and fingerless gloves.

Now all adult beanies/stocking caps, any style, will only be $15!
Child and infant sizes $10
All fingerless gloves $10

Plus I will have a lot of jar openers, bowl cozies, potholders and more handmade items to choose from. And of course I will have a lot of goodies with dachshund print on them.

🎁 It’s not too early to start Christmas shopping.

Come see me tomorrow/Saturday morning in the Rose District.
418 S Main, Broken Arrow
Open 8 till noon.

Each one measure approximately 6”x9” and are $18 each. Some with lavender and some without.
Don’t worry, I’ll be making more with other fun prints too.

After a lot of seam ripping, starting over, Hobby Lobby trips, wasted fabric and maybe a little cursing under my breath, I finally finished Charley & Ellie’s German Girl dresses for Tulsa Oktoberfest!

I even installed eyelets for the first time! Much easier than I thought.

They love wearing the dresses.
Scarves on their head, not so much.
Making these dresses was completely different from making my usual items.
It was a lot of fun though. The girls loved all the fittings they had to do.

If you want to see a whole lot of dachshunds in one place, Tulsa Octoberfest on Sunday, September 25th is the place to be. There were over 200 doxies there last year!
We will be there for the 4th year in a row! Dachshund parade, costume contest and dachshund dash. It all starts at 1. I recommend getting there early.

Pretty green fabric was from Sew Uptown here in Bartlesville.

It’s that time of year again to start getting ready for Christmas 🎄 🎁 🎅 events and keeping Farm Hippie stocked for the holidays. Which means cutting out a LOT of cotton fabric and wrap-n-zap batting squares for bowl cozies.

I’ve decided for the first time ever to do a contest. Whoever can guess how many bowl cozies this stack will make without going over will get a free bowl cozy of your choice. If you guess the exact amount you will win 2 bowl cozies. More than one person can win.
I will even mail them to you or deliver to your house.

I will announce the winner this Saturday morning.

Good luck 🍀

Bowl cozies aren’t just for hot food from the microwave. They’re also for ICE CREAM!

Your hand gets cold with that bowl of ice cream, so to keep them from freezing, use a bowl cozy.

Here are some freshly made bowl cozies going to Farm Hippie in Collinsville tomorrow afternoon.
There are several more already in the store to choose from.

It’s not too early to start thinking of Christmas gifts.

$12 each

Very thankful that my grandmother taught me to crochet when I was only 10 years old. Especially when my flight keeps getting delayed, I have something to do.
