I don’t normally participate in challenges like this, but I am honored to be nominated for this one.

Lately I’ve been spending more time in my Bible, leaning into Jesus, and praying for peace—and I’m seeing that peace show up in so many ways. Along with it, I keep noticing little blessings I might have overlooked before. This nomination felt like one of them.

So this time, I’m saying yes.

Workshop Wednesday 🪑 Can I FINALLY commit to finishing these chairs? They’ve been waiting on me long enough. Time to get them DONE.

A whole lot of stripping, sanding, digging into grooves, clamps, a replaced panel…and finally trying Rubio Monocoat.

So worth it.

Love the sheen. Love how smooth it feels. And I REALLY love the one-step color + finish process.

Biggest lesson — test your color before committing to the entire piece!

I can’t wait to try more Rubio Monocoat colors. 🙌
