As tomorrow approaches it will be our last day as Pickers Paradise Batesville!! I can’t believe its ending so soon!! Seem like it just got going!! I want to thank my Vendors you guys made the store so great!! When people came in and would say you do such good job decorating here it wasnt me it was all of you. ❤️ Deb, Marisa, Cathy, Robin, Travis - I couldn’t have done it without you guys!! Marisa, you are so deserving of every big dream you have. ❤️❤️ I want to Thank our customers for making our small business a great place!! ❤️ As Pickers comes to an end, the building has been bought and plans of another shop! I wish them much success! ❤️ Now on to my next adventure!! 😀

Hello Everybody, we hope all is well! ❤ Pickers Paradise Batesville has news to share with you, bittersweet in nature. Back in 2022, we opened our little shop in town. At that point, we occupied only half of the building you know today. A few years later, we had the joy of expanding our shop to the rest of the first floor! Your love and support for Pickers made all the hard work worthwhile!! We thank you deeply for that.
Due to unforeseen circumstances out of our control, with heavy hearts, Pickers Paradise Batesville will closing it’s doors on May 23rd. (You may have noticed the green for-sale signs out in the yard.) The building is going up for sale, and despite our business doing rather well, the price is simply at a cost we could not afford to rent or buy. In small towns like Batesville, word tends to get around fast. We encourage you, in every situation, to take what you hear with a grain of salt and discernment. (Rarely are rumors whole and true.) In this case, the real answer is the simple one: we’re closing due to the building going up for sale at an increased value. 🏡
Although this is an ending, in many ways, it is a happy one! We’ve had the honor and privilege of meeting wonderful people - vendors and customers - that have made our lives and shop all the better. We’ve learned and grown from every person that has walked into our doors; what a blessing this endeavor has been! So with that being said, we will be ending on a high note!! Pickers Paradise Batesville will be offering sales and deals throughout the next weekend that you really don’t want to miss! We’re doing this as a huge thank you to all our customers who have made this dream possible. Whether you came in for a particular reason, or to stroll and pass the time, we thank you for making this place a Picker’s Paradise. “Vintage, Antique, New, Unique” - onto the next peak, Batesville! 🫶
