It may be April 1, but we're not joking! Today marks the 10-year anniversary of The Stitch In Time under its current ownership! We have come a long way in 10 years -- from picking up the business on the corner - to moving next door and expanding into our current location - to adding the engraving and award operations.

We would like to take a moment to thank everyone who has supported us along the way, because without you we could not be successful! From our wonderful customers to our fabulous employees to all of our great friends who have recommended us to others they know, we have depended on each of you for 10 years, and we hope you will celebrate the day with us! We look forward to continuing to serve you long into the future! Thanks again for giving us the opportunity to work with you!

Due to continued issues associated with the extreme cold and blowing snow, along with the area schools being closed again, we have decided to be CLOSED again on Wednesday, January 28. We apologize for any inconvenience, and we intend to be open regular hours on Thursday, January 29.

We do plan to be in the shop on a limited basis at some point through the day on Wednesday, so if you need something that must be addressed immediately, please call or message us. Otherwise, we appreciate your patience, and we will look forward to helping you soon.

In case you're curious about conditions in downtown Batesville, here is the current view out the front windows of our shop towards the corner of E George and Main Street.

Needless to say, we will be CLOSED on Monday, January 26. We'll re-evaluate on Monday to determine our plan for Tuesday and beyond. Stay safe and warm, and please don't venture out unless you need to be!

Attention! ⚠️ This is not a drill! 🔨 We will be open until NOON today -- Tuesday, December 23 -- for order pick-up and last minute gift-grabs from our in-stock items.

If you need another gift or stocking stuffer, drop in and see us! We have plenty of apparel and gift items that are ready for purchase. Or grab a customizable item and give it blank, so your special someone can bring it back and have it personalized in the new year!

Today is our last day of business for 2025. After 12 pm today, we will be closed until Monday, January 5. We very much appreciate all of our customers and our community, as we could not be here without your support!

We again hope everyone is staying warm on this blustery morning! Despite area schools being closed, we are once again adjusting our winter weather policy to accommodate the Christmas rush: WE ARE OPEN TODAY (Monday, Dec 15)... regular hours until 5 PM.

We hope everyone is staying safe and warm on this snowy morning! Despite many area schools being closed today, we are adjusting our winter weather policy to accommodate the Christmas rush. WE WILL BE OPEN, just a bit later today to give everyone time to get in safely - and then will be there regular hours until 5 PM.

As of right now, we plan to be open our regular hours of 9-12 on Saturday, since it looks like the next round of snow will be later in the day.

Also, we were experiencing some problems with our phone service yesterday, but hope that is now resolved today. If for some reason you're unable to get through, you can always message us here, and we will get back with you as soon as we can.

Due to the wintry conditions across our area, we will initially be CLOSED on Tuesday, December 2. We may open later in the day, but please call prior to making the trip.

As a reminder, our general winter weather policy is to be closed whenever area schools are closed or on E-learning due to weather conditions.

We want to take a moment to wish everyone a Happy Thanksgiving week - and to remind you that you have less than 2 weeks to get your special orders placed with us to ensure delivery by Christmas! The last day to place an order for 2025 will be Saturday, December 6!

After the cut-off date, we will try to do what we can to help you, but please keep in mind that at that point there are no guarantees! We will have many great ideas available in the store, so please stop in to check out all of the gifts and spiritwear that we will have in stock and ready for purchase!

Please keep in mind that we will be closed Thursday, Friday, and Saturday this coming week to enjoy family time and to gear up for the Christmas rush!
