Last nights send off and get together was unexpected and very special indeed!

We were recognized, honored, and humbled with an official Proclamation of appreciation by the city of Bay Village!

We thank our plaza mates, friends, and family for the support in what felt like a whirlwind month.

Thank you for all the letters, kind words, hugs, memories, and texts that kept us going, it will never be forgotten!

Grateful is an understatement! It took many great people both past and present to become what Arthurs Shoe Tree was to generations!

Arthur's son Mitch came by to show his appreciation to both of us for keeping his father's name in peoples hearts and minds for decades.

We have received wonderful messages from his grandkids as well and that means the world to us.

It was our true honor and pleasure to keep Arthur's going and I love that we have a 3 owners generation picture and have stayed close over the years.

🚨 Before we wind down. The style and feel of the store for the remaining weeks will be completely different and outside of our normal routine sadly.

With little staff and limited inventory we just ask that you bear with us in a totally opposite approach of a closeout style sale which we are not accustomed to.

(sit and fit, seating, specialty services, etc will all be very limited as we simply do not have the ability at this point)

Arthurs Shoe Tree Family,

It is with great pain and anguish I write this post to our beloved customer base and partners. 😔

We have done everything we could as a single storefront-brick and mortar, to survive the many hurdles and roadblock's within our industry for 11 years.

But sadly that fight to stay afloat must come to and end and we will be closing our hometown store "Arthur's Shoe Tree" at the end of February. 😢

We will miss the ability to truly help others and serve the community, especially our seniors, infants, special needs, and disabled customers who often cannot find the care they need in a big box and online world. 💔

This is more than heart breaking. It's devastating right down to our souls. But the decision was not made lightly.

We hope to find some peace in knowing how many blessings and friendships came out of this little store. I will carry the 15 years I spent here with me in my heart forever.

Over the coming days and months we encourage you to scroll back through the thousands of memories, stories, events and posts on our facebook and instagram pages. It's quite obvious, It has always been about the people. 🙏
