Sorry for my prolonged absence my wonderful followers and customer base. I've been going through it this year. Sales were at an all time low, I even considered closing down completely. I looked at my options and decided if I did more local events I could make up the deficit. Golden right?
I thought I had a solid plan, I was confident I could make this little biz thrive again. Until my health took a scary turn landing me in the ER in January and forcing me to really make some life changes for my well-being and long term health. Finally I got a plan of action in place and have been working weekly with my doctors to ensure I regain my and maintain my health.
Things were looking amazing now!
Then my father passed away suddenly and I really didn't have the spoons to focus on the biz with funeral planning, family drama, and trying to mourn in relative peace, I was hitting a huge emotionally charged health lapse. I had to swallow my medicine with no sugar, and I had to come to terms with needing to rest not push through like I imagined I could. I'm still working on making time to have a good shower meltdown cry and to process all these left over feels.
Things aren't perfect but they are getting easier to manage every day, and with that I am hoping to get back to working on more beautiful things for the boutique and for my incredible patrons and followers.
