I am very hopeful for the future of Hungary. We need a good education, reliable healthcare, equal rights, checks and balances and no corruption and oligarchs. It was special to go vote with my Mom. Elderly need a livable pension, people need a livable income. I am grateful that I was able to come home to vote in person. Now we wait.

First of all, I haven’t been knitting much since I started sewing project bags. I’ve been promising my Mom a sweater/cardigan for a while now, and as soon as I saw this pattern, it matched all the criteria she wanted. The only catch? She wanted a cozy, thick, round-neck cardigan—and this pattern calls for fi*****ng weight yarn. So, I’m knitting it in worsted weight and sizing down from 40 to 36. Fingers crossed it turns out as hoped!
