Celebrating 10 years of Anne Cate 🏙️🇺🇸💖
Ten years ago, Anne Cate began in my dorm room at Kent State University with a sewing machine, a love for my favorite cities, and an idea.
I never could have imagined that a simple skyline pillow would become my career.
Over the past decade, we've sewn thousands upon thousands of bags, shipped products across the United States, secured incredible retail partnerships, and built a brand that proudly manufactures products right here in America.
But the milestones that mean the most aren't always the big ones --
They're the moments when someone stops me and says they're still carrying a purse they bought years ago (even when our quality wasn't exactly what it is today!).
They're the moments when I spot an Anne Cate bag in public (most times I'm still too shy to walk up and say, "Hey, I made that bag!" - ha)!
To our customers: thank you for believing in a small Cleveland business. Thank you for supporting American-made manufacturing. Thank you for choosing our products to celebrate the cities, places, and memories you love.
To everyone in the Cleveland community, the manufacturing industry, the promotional products world, and the incredible network of people who have connected us, referred us, collaborated with us, and trusted us with personalized products—thank you. Your support has helped shape Anne Cate into what it is today.
And to my husband and family: thank you for the late nights, the early mornings, the event setup and breakdowns, the countless bags turned right-side-out at midnight, the extra hands during busy seasons, and the unwavering belief in this dream.
What started as a skyline pillow celebrating a girl's favorite place has grown into a full-service custom accessories manufacturing company. Yet that same skyline pillow—and the idea of helping people celebrate the places they love—remains at the heart of everything we do.
