✨ Meet the Collective ✨

One of the sweetest parts of Southern Vintage Collective is the people who fill it. Each vendor brings their own eye, their own style, and a little piece of themselves into the shop — and together, they’re what make Southern Vintage Collective feel so special.

There’s just something extra special about a mother-daughter team. šŸ¤

I’m so excited to welcome this sweet duo into the Southern Vintage Collective family! They’re bringing their shared creativity, beautiful finds, and their own special style to the shop — and I can’t wait for you to get to know them.

Meet Karen Rizzotto Truman & Megan Truman with K & M Mercantile!

K&M Mercantile is a new mother-daughter booth coming to Southern Vintage Collective, opening soon in Beaumont. I’m Karen Truman, the mother of the duo. I was born and raised in Beaumont, attended schools here and graduated from Lamar University. I’ve been married to my high school sweetheart for 50 years. We have 3 wonderful children and 8 amazing grandchildren. When I married I was introduced to the world of vintage and antique items. My mother-in-law owned an antique shop in Beaumont. She would take me to yard sales, estate sales, flea markets, to Canton and later to Roundtop. I loved everything about it…the people I met, the hunt, the unexpected treasures I found and learning the history of items. I enjoyed browsing in her shop, and I asked a lot of questions. I was drawn to the beauty, the history, the quality/craftsmanship and versatility of certain items that I favored and learned to find different uses for them.
My hobby was put on hold for a while as I became a wife, mother, teacher and grandmother. After I retired from 20+ years of teaching and the kids were out of the house I began stopping into thrift stores/resale shops to hunt for treasures. I was lured back in! My revived interest opened so many doors…meeting new people, exploring new shopping areas and opening my first vendor booth. I realized this had been a dream/goal of mine from way back! The best part is my two daughters and my granddaughters all love antiquing, thrifting and vintage shopping, so we enjoy going together.
I’m so lucky and excited to be a part of Southern Vintage Collective and to be a partner with my daughter. In our booth You’ll find high quality trending items but mostly things that we’re drawn to, things we love!ā¤ļø

Hi, I’m Megan! I’m the owner of Trutiques Antiques and have always loved finding unique vintage pieces and giving them a new life. My love for antiques began when I was young, watching my grandmother sell them, and continued when my mom opened a shop of her own.

After a few years of Mom and me shopping together for our individual businesses, we decided it was finally time to join forces. We’re so excited to begin this new adventure together as K&M Mercantile and can’t wait to share all of our favorite finds with you!

Watching this little dream of mine fill up with such wonderful people has been one of the sweetest parts of this journey. So happy to have these two joining our vendor family and adding a little bit of their story to ours. 🌿

✨ Meet the Collective ✨

There’s something extra special about things made slowly, thoughtfully, and close to home. šŸ¤

Our next vendor brings a little bit of farm life to the Collective with beautiful, all-natural candles, handcrafted soaps, and body products made with care and intention.

We can’t wait for you to meet Anna with Anna Louise Farm LLC and discover all the goodness she’s bringing to this little dream of mine that is quickly becoming something so very special.

Meet the Maker-

Hello! My name is Anna Kemple and I’m the maker behind Anna Louise Farm.

My journey began back in 2010 when my family of eight moved out of the city and onto our little piece of country life. We started a garden, brought home some chickens, sheep, goats… you get the idea! Along the way, we began pursuing a more natural way of living—reducing the toxins in our home and learning to make natural products that our entire family could enjoy.

What started as a way of life soon became a small business. We began selling our handmade products at local pop-up markets, and today you can find Anna Louise Farm products in several retail locations throughout Southeast Texas.

Everything we make is made from scratch, in small batches, by yours truly. I’ve been making and selling cold-process soap for nearly 15 years, and our newest addition is our line of tallow soaps.

One thing I love to share with our customers is that our soaps are not melt-and-pour soaps. Every bar is made from scratch using the traditional cold-process method—just like Grandma used to make.

Our product line also includes magnesium lotion, organic soy candles made with non-carcinogenic fragrances, and many other handmade goods.

We also offer our Cottage Experience, where we host on-site cottage markets, workshops, and small gatherings. Guests can learn to pour their own candles, make lip balm, and create other handmade products in a cozy, relaxed setting.

We are so excited to be part of Southern Vintage Collective! We’re currently working on some new products to bring to this beautiful, brand-new location, and I can’t wait to share what we’ve been creating with you!

Thank you for supporting small business, handmade products, and this little dream that started back in 2010. šŸ¤

Meet the Collective-

One of the sweetest parts of bringing Southern Vintage Collective to life has been the incredible people who have chosen to be part of it with me. Each one brings their own personality, style, talent, and heart to this little dream of mine. I’m so excited to introduce you to them one by one, so you can see the faces behind the spaces that make Southern Vintage Collective so special. šŸ¤

Meet Mireya Sanchez with Trove C***r ! I think you’ll find her amazingšŸ™Œ

A Little About Me šŸ¤Ž

I’m a wife, a mom to two beautiful girls—16 and 12—and I work in a field that I truly love and believe in. My family will always be my number one priority, but somewhere along the way, I found a little something that brought a part of me back to life. šŸ¤Ž

My love for the treasure hunt actually started when I was a kid. My mom loved a good yard sale, and we would spend half our Saturdays running the roads, stopping at yard sales and thrift stores, looking for the coolest tops, the hip jeans, and the best brand-name shoes—for me and my seven siblings! šŸ˜Ž Looking back, I guess you could say the thrill of the hunt was planted in me pretty early.

As I got older, my treasures changed. I fell in love with home dĆ©cor, vintage pieces, and of course… purses. Because let’s be honest, I could NEVER pass up a cute vintage purse! 🤩

Then life happened. Marriage. Motherhood. Raising my girls. Work. The everyday craziness of life. And somewhere along the way, my treasure hunting took a backseat while I poured my time and heart into my family.

And I wouldn’t change that for anything.

But now my girls are getting a little more independent, and I’ve found my way back to something I’ve always loved—the excitement of finding that ever-so-cool, forgotten, one-of-a-kind piece.

What started with decorating my own home and finding those special pieces that reminded me of my mom’s kitchen slowly turned into something more. It became my little side hustle, my creative outlet, my happy place… and truly, one heck of a grind. šŸ˜…

And somewhere in that journey, Trove C***r was born. šŸ¤ŽšŸ’š

Trove C***r is more than just a name or a place where I sell vintage finds. It’s a little piece of me. It represents the thrill of the hunt, the love of finding forgotten treasures, and the joy of giving those pieces another chance to be loved and appreciated.

There’s something about finding an old piece that someone else may have overlooked, cleaning it up, giving it some love, and imagining the story it could tell in someone else’s home.

I love the hunt.
I love the history.
I love the nostalgia.
And I love that I get to share these treasures with other people who appreciate the beauty in the things from yesterday. šŸ¤ŽšŸ’š

So this is what I do, and this is why I do it.

This is Trove C***r.
This is my story.
This is my little grind.
This is my happy place.
