May was the dumbest month ever. I mean, nothing world-ending happened to us, but there was a lot going on behind the scenes for everyone on staff, between cars breaking down and illness and vet visits and a little bit of everything... 🪱 But we made it through! And here's hoping that we're through the thick of it! 🤞

But even with all the craziness, Forager has been a lovely respite!! 🥺💕 Thank you all of you for being so kind and supportive of our team and shop. It's lovely getting to see you guys and hear about your projects and outfits. As busy as you keep us, your support makes our days worth it.

Oh yeah by the way, did you notice Spring is just about over?? The shop is all stocked up for Ren Faire and Pride and it's crazy to see the difference from last month's decor posts! (Thanks .chambers and for always doing amazing displays and outfits for the shop!)

Part 2! This is honestly my favorite and most satisfying step to building an outfit.

If you ever watch our outfit styling videos on our mannequins, the big transformation from the clothes on the hangers -> to the finished look, is usually because of Layering! ✨

Here are a bunch of tips for layering for Ren Faire, but you can bring a lot of these ideas into your everyday outfits too.

Once you consider adding scarves and miscellaneous fabric, anything can look good.

If you're finding an outfit last-minute, or maybe you're on a budget, or just prefer shopping secondhand; here are some tips on how to find a Ren Faire outfit at the thrift store.

This might be too much whimsy for your typical vintage shop, but it's who we are! 🧙‍♂️ If you're new here hi, we just love an excuse for a fun themed outfit. Why NOT just dress up like a wizard for funsies?

Week 1 of the is "Fantasy", so we were inspired to make a wizard outfit! Also we got this really cool hat that just needed to be used for something. 👀

I don't care if "woodland" isn't a theme for the Oregon Ren Faire this year, we're doing a few woodland themed outfits anyway. 😤 We know what we like!

Our Druid outfit from last year still gets so much attention. We just had to style a masculine version. Earthy tones are superior 🐌🌿

Take a quick Spring tour around the shop! 🌿🐌

Forager is filled with so many bits and bobs and trinkets lately. Our shop is so small, but you could spend hours going through all the little nooks 🐀 (I had to stop myself from adding even more trinkets to the walls, lest it look TOO cluttered)
