Why do we put up with uncomfortable shoes for YEARS…

…but will return a shirt because the sleeve feels weird?

WHY?!

This is why I watch you walk. 👀

A lady came in yesterday with an old ankle injury that’s been bothering her for years.

I watched her walk and noticed her foot was rolling out, so I gave her a Level Walk.

She took a few steps and said, “Oh my gosh… that feels SO much better!”

🥹❤️

I told her she still needs to get that ankle checked out, but man…

I love when we can make somebody feel better.

Well… this just made my whole day. ❤️

A customer sent me this message after finding her shoes today, and I asked if I could share it because THIS is why I love what I do.

“I don't cry much, and I definitely don't cry over shoes. That said, I've been shopping for shoes that fit, for a couple of months. I've bought them online and in person, blowing thru many shoe stores and leaving in disappointment, and returning several pairs. Today I visited Eckstein's and found Mary. I tried on several kinds of shoes, and said no to every one. Mary refused to give up on me even though I was close to giving up on shoes altogether. After learning about my foot issues, she brought out a pair and helped me into them. I took a few steps and burst into tears of relief. I love my New Balance W880419s! Hard to fit? Go see Mary. She knows shoes.

860 or 1080? 🤔

Okay… they’re both New Balance.
But they’re definitely not the same shoe.

The 860 has some stability built into it.

The 1080 is more of a neutral shoe and has that nice soft, cushy feel.

So when somebody comes in and says, “I need a New Balance.”

I’m like…

“Wellllll… which one?” 😂

Because there are A LOT of them.

And just because you like the way one looks doesn’t mean your feet are gonna like it.

Come try them on. We’ll figure it out. 👟

MONDAY. 😑

The shoes are quiet.
The register is off.
The door is locked.

And somewhere in Beech Grove, somebody is walking around in shoes that are absolutely killing their feet and thinking, “I’ll deal with it later.”

😂

Nope.

Later is how you end up limping into Eckstein on Saturday saying:

“I should’ve come in sooner.”

We’ll be back tomorrow. Bring the tired feet. We’ll handle the rest. 👟
