LEARN SOMETHING NEW EVERY WEEK:
I use these stands when I use a double needle to make coverstitch stitching. The stitching comes out better than using the sewing machine’s 2 thread holders. Never understood the mechanics behind it. Good to know.

Moods Fabric store coming to Chicago?! Yes! Sorta.

No, they won’t have the factory, multi-level 60” bolts of fabrics. Instead they will have something like the upholstery rectangle samples in books. But at least we can see the actual colors of the fabric, actual size of a print, feel the various textures of the fabrics and order for delivery. Plus it sounds like they may have classes and events at this flagship store in the loop!

I’m adding it to the treasure map of stores I have that I can drive to on auto pilot!
