At Pinecones & Needles, we’ve created an environment that fosters creativity for every age group. From hand-made European toys for the little ones, to felting workshops for adults, we offer a variety of fun products and activities that help you use your brain and hopefully learn something new. You won’t find any plastic toys, and you won’t hear any electronic sounds. We’re keeping it all natural, and that’s just the way we like it!

Our Story

Pinecones and Needles is a one-of-a-kind boutique located between Waverly Square and Cushing Square, Belmont, MA where we strive to provide an environment that supports creative exploration and community connection.

Our toy store offers a wide selection of eco-friendly and Waldorf-inspired toys for all ages, unique artist works, and a large selection of European toys.

Pinecones & Needles offers crafting classes and drop-in crafts for children and adults alike. The crafting space is a place where families gather together, reconnect, explore a way of living closer to nature. Sign up for classes, drop in to craft, buy a gift, and treat yourself to the rare pleasure of doing one thing at a time.

Eneida Aguilar, Jenna Rounds, and Carleen Loveday re-opened the space in October 2018, inspired to continue the vision of Anne Gates, who founded Pinecones & Needles in 2015 but was beckoned away to other compelling ventures in Vermont.
