The Carriage House has closed.

Thank you to everyone who made our first (and sadly, our last) month a great success for us. We knew we were on the right track, and our sales proved that.

Our vintage wine box would look equally at home holding liquor or vino - or even a flower arrangement (it's deep & wide enough to slip a glass vase into)

Ooh - shiny!

We have two vintage DeSoto hubcaps, and one vintage Plymouth hubcap at The Carriage House. They make great wall decor for your man cave or garage!

We just dropped off this penguin ice bucket - it's official name is the "West Bend Penguin Hot and Cold Server Ice Bucket"

Whatever you call it - you really have to add "iconic" to it! The patent was issued to West Bend in 1941, and if you're "of a certain age", I'd bet you good money you remember this from your childhood.

This one is in very good vintage condition and would make a great Father's Day gift for that cool dad of yours!

This circa 1910-1930 steamer trunk from the Perkiomen Trunk & Bag Co could probably tell more than a few stories!

Sold by Gimbel Brothers, it’s a pretty cool piece. The original hangers are included and the top of the hanger side lifts back for access.

We're officially open at The Cellar Door!

The painted buffet was done with Wise Owl Paint in "Inkwell". The top was left its natural color and the piece was finished with matte varnish. Warm gold gilding wax was used on the outer door detail, as well as the harlequin design on the interior of the doors. The original door pulls were also refinished with gilding.

My favorite part of a painting project is when I reattach the hardware

The pulls were badly tarnished, so i stripped them, painted them in the same paint as the buffet and then gilded them.
