IN THE SPOTLIGHT at ROCK N ROLL FASHION CORNER - Deniss Mistjurin is a clothes designer from Estonia.
Ever since he was a child, he used to fantasize a lot and loved to draw clothing designs. He always wanted to stand out and be different. It was difficult in those days in Estonia (90’s), as in stores they were only selling standard clothes for mass consumption. Therefore it was absolutely necessary for him to invent, and with the help of creative ideas, to alter their things.
He was very grateful to his mother. Not everything was to her liking, but she supported him a lot.
Deniss enrolled into the school of textile industry without much desire. So, sit out until they're ripe for something more. But studying was easy. He got involved. His teachers taught him to respect his profession. The first dress he made was actually for his mother. But not all and not always was rosy and promising. He worked at the factory - routine, monotonous work. When he realized that he was suffocating, he decided to change the situation and went to study. New skills, inspiration ... just then there were interesting projects - he sewed costumes for the “Genesis variety show” and collaborated with many interesting people. So step by step he came to the realization to create his own brand. Now he cooperates with the model school, participate in various competitions, take part in creative projects. He does not know what will happen next, but he is sure that he will try to make our world more interesting and beautiful by any means! “Creativity is wonderful and it helps us in life in different situations.”
