Dear Friends
Just thought I'd give you an update of what's happening in my world. 2 years ago now I had the deep brain stimulation surgery done for my Parkinson's. I have since been tremor free, and take very little meds. I am excited to be able to sew again. So please feel free to call me with your bridal sewing needs. I enjoy making the dresses fit.
The office phone number is now my home number. I do my sewing at my home now. Call 218-751-3433 or my cell number 218-368-9686 for an appointment.

My new porch is my favorite place to go to relax
The upper deck is entered via my sewing room. My husband designed and built this for our retirement. He is the best!!

I would like to thank everyone for supporting us during the changing of the guard. Laurie is enjoying her retirement, and still stops in occassionally.
Also thank you for your continued support during these weird times. I am still open, but with flexible hours by appointment until further notice.

Dear friends and customers,

Lp Stitchery as you have know it for the past 20 years, has gone out of business.
I, Laurie Pommerening am the LP in the business name.
I have shared with most of you that I have Parkinson's disease. Since the Covid-19 shut down cancelled most of our prom and bridal season this year. The stress of it all has escalated my Parkinson's to the point of me not being able to run my business or do my alterations in the efficienct manor that I have done for you in the past.
I have not been able to write this post till now.
You have seen the new phone number posted, that is Susan's number she has worked with me for 11 years. We have spent the past 5 or so years preparing for this transition. Her new business is called S.O.S Sewing by Susan Olson. She is located in the same location as LP Stitchery has been. I have been referring you to Susan with your bridal and formal alteration's. With my assurance you will be in good hands.
I also like to refer you to Stella at Alterations Plus 218-444-5903 for your other general alterations and Sewing needs.
And for all your canvas repair and fabrication need I would refer you to Steven Eastridge at Up North Canvas 218-556-0172.
All three of these Business owners have worked for me in the past and do excellent work.
I am at home working on managing my Parkinson's, the 751-3433 number is my home phone now so I can still refer you and keep in touch if you want.

Due to the Covid-19 Minnesota shutdown, LP Stitchery will be closed for 2 weeks. We are still working on our inventory at our individual homes.
