Happy Sunday! 👋🏻
It's a bright and beautiful sunny day today.
This morning Tess and I went to Richard's donuts, (Our favorite. If you live here in Bend, I mean, come on... They're everyone's favorite.) grabbed some coffee, went to Church and ended up here! Sparrow Bakery.
It's a staple, but their bacon breakfast sandwich is ahhh-MA-ZA-zing. If you haven't had it already, according to their menu I'm reading right now 😉, it's made up of a 'poached egg, bacon, avocado, arugula aioli, served on a hand rolled croissant.' SO dang good. Mmm. [slams the table]
This isn't paid advertising, by the way, we just really love this place. Also, quick sidebar: I'm reading this book on screenwriting called Save The Cat (bottom right). Here's one of my favorite lines so far: "Concentrate on writing one sentence. One line. Because if you can learn how to tell me what it is you're making better, faster, and with more creativity, you'll keep me interested. And incidentally, by doing so before you start writing, you'll make the story better, too." I'm not necessarily interested in screenwriting, but I LOVE stories and telling good ones at that. We all know one when we see one and the reality is good storytelling is a learnable skill. Thank goodness! Your story matters. Why not tell it well?
