Happy Wednesday, friends 💕 This Sunday is Mother’s Day, so today we are showing a few gift ideas for that special woman in your life. Jewelry armoires are extremely popular gifts this time of year and this armoire is absolutely beautiful. The dark wood cabinetry is highlighted with acanthus leaf carvings and fluted edges, brass hardware and two paneled doors. Behind the doors, you will find an ample amount of hanging hooks and a number of drawers for storage. The top of the armoire lifts and includes a mirror and storage space lined with anti-tarnish fabric.  Our creative quilter has been busy designing one of a kind jackets, dusters, sweatshirts and tees; all are made from well loved vintage quilts. Any of these stunning items would be sure to delight your special someone’s heart. We also have new stained glass and hand-painted pieces and I adore the new Swan Creek candles, which are shaped like birds. My favorite scent is White Peach & Clove.  Finally, I would draw your attention to a new booth, which features something special called Simple Blessings. This small business owner has a true heart for vulnerable adults and has created Blessing Bags filled with essentials for you to purchase to give to someone in need. Alternately, you may simply make a donation, which will be given to a local community agency to enable them to help others. We love her heart and hope you will support this very worthwhile endeavor. Happy Tuesday, friends 🌸  Today’s furniture piece is a terrific rustic desk which features a very popular shade of vintage green paint. This Arts & Craft mission style desk has slatted wooden pieces all around, a small central drawer and a curved inset shelf at the bottom. Brand new to our inventory is a wonderful display of delicious old fashioned hard candies. You’ll find Rock Candy on a Stick, including my favorite flavor root beer, and also bags of assorted candies in flavors like licorice, sassafras, peppermint, horehound and anise. Finally, if you are a collector of brass, check out the vintage repoussé brass tinder box with a family scene embossed on the outside; it’s beautiful! Happy Monday, friends 🌸 At first glance, our furniture piece this morning appears to be a simple side table. However, if you are a lover of all things French Country, then this is a real opportunity. This beautiful solid hardwood side table is a vintage French Provincial two tiered table, complete with graceful cabriole legs, lovely scalloped edges and four metal lattice panels. If you love this style, stop by to see this table in person; it’s a beauty. I’m also featuring five Big Booth Shots for you to enjoy. Happy Saturday, friends🪻🪴🦋 We said, “Garden” and  y’all said, “Yes, please”! Yesterday was the first day of our Garden Bazaar and it was such a fabulous time we thought we’d do it again today 😎
We have amazing vintage and modern garden items including vintage iron topiaries, live plants, benches, outdoor wall art and door hangers, garden flags, metal yard decor, ceramic and metal containers and so much more! We’ll begin again today at 9am and will be adding additional Garden Goodies. We invite you to stop by and check it out. We will be open till 5pm ❤️

Happy Thursday, friends 🌸 Many of the hutches we receive in our inventory are quite large, but this morning‘s furniture piece is a perfect size to fit in those smaller places in your home. This beautiful Federal style solid mahogany hutch features shelves at the top for display, three drawers and a flip top, so it might also be used as a secretary. There’s a terrific amount of storage behind two cabinet doors at the bottom. Quilt collectors will love the handcrafted "Lone Star" or "Star of Bethlehem" quilt featuring a large, vibrant star design in yellow, brown and orange tones. This quilt is very old and the stitching is outstanding. Anyone who grew up in the time of paper doll cut outs will appreciate our newest addition of paper dolls which feature Marilyn Monroe and Magazine Cover Girls. Marilyn’s book features her costumes from various movies and Cover Girls has several named dolls with matching clothing. They are uncut. Finally, don’t miss my favorite thing of the day which is a handsome vintage hand carved wooden penguin. His paint may be a little faded, but I find him absolutely charming. The Benton Marketplace is open today 9am-5pm and we are preparing for our Garden Bazaar tomorrow and Saturday. Make plans to stop by and see us! Enjoy this fabulous day ❤️

Happy Wednesday, friends 🐎 Today’s furniture piece is a lovely small rustic cabinet. This terrific piece has been painted matte black with nicely, distressed edges. You’ll find one long drawer and two doors for storage.  There’s even a curved backsplash as an additional accent. The 152nd Kentucky Derby takes place this Saturday and if you’re still looking for a gorgeous Derby Hat or Fascinator, stop by and check out the fabulous selection available at the Benton Marketplace. Yesterday afternoon, I was delighted when one of our small business owners brought in a stunning collection of four vintage hand stitched quilts. Today, I am featuring my favorite of the group, which is called “Sunbonnet Sue”. The appliqué pattern is highlighted by neatly embroidered stitches. I discovered a small collection of Coca-Cola memorabilia and my favorite thing is the awesome Coca-Cola lunchbox cookie jar! We also have a restock of our popular Poppy’s Popcorn, including the Cinnamon Bourbon Pecan flavor, which is without question my favorite. If you haven’t tried this particular popcorn, I highly recommend it. Good morning, friends 🌸 Today we are featuring a beautifully refurbished, three-piece bedroom suite, which consists of a dresser, chest of drawers and one nightstand. This set of furniture has been painted a lovely shade of soft taupe and you will discover plenty of storage in every piece. The dresser has a wonderful three drawer top piece perfect for jewelry and the chest of drawers is extra tall. Each piece features beautiful new cup pulls. You may purchase this as a set or pieces are available individually. Picture of nightstand is in the comments. Also featured are two gorgeous vintage roosters and an impressive set of six green Vaseline glass tumblers. There are a couple of Big Booth Shots for your shopping enjoyment and don’t forget the guys because we have merchandise just for them.  Remember our Garden Bazaar this Friday and Saturday, 9am-5pm both days. We’ll have lots of garden goodies outside and inside the store. Happy Monday, friends 🌸 Our furniture item today is an absolutely gorgeous late 1800’s antique oak hall tree with all the lovely features you would expect from this particular type of antique. The hall tree features a beveled mirror, a seat which lifts for storage, hooks for coats and hats and a beautiful lions head carving. It is in extremely nice condition. Another terrific solid wood piece is our Ethan Allen classic pine wall mount shelf/curio unit with three shelves, each with a plate edge. The shelf has metal brackets on the back for mounting to a wall and is numbered. There seems to be renewed interest in gorgeous bird cages and I discovered a vintage red pagoda-style decorative birdcage in our inventory. I love the design and color of this unique piece. Our T-shirt gal has lots of new styles and check out the latest restock of vintage jars. I’ve also added a couple of big booth shots for you to enjoy during this rainy day.
