🍂Crafted by J&G Meakin of Hanley, England, this lovely antique ironstone biscuit jar is full of timeless English cottage charm. Traditionally used to hold biscuits—the British name for cookies—it would be equally at home today on a coffee bar filled with biscotti, tea bags, wrapped treats, or coffee pods. Its graceful silhouette, elegant handles, and classic white ironstone make it a beautiful piece to display year-round, blending effortlessly with farmhouse, cottage, and traditional décor. A small chip on the rim of the lid, light age-earned staining, and a couple of old stable hairlines on the handles tell the story of a well-loved piece that has stood the test of time and only add to its authentic antique character.

🍂Once found in homes from the late 1800s through the early 1900s, these beautiful domed glass chimney flue covers are charming pieces of architectural history. During the warmer months, when stovepipes were removed, they were hung over chimney openings to keep out drafts, insects, and debris while adding a touch of beauty to an otherwise ordinary wall. Today, they make wonderfully unique cottage accents—display them on a plate stand, tuck one into a gallery wall, lean one on a bookshelf, or layer it among antique artwork and ironstone for an effortlessly collected look.
