Let me tell you about a mistake I made early on when I started this active convertible dress business. After I painstakingly designing this one of a kind dress with my daughter, I created my own transfer labels for the performance fabric dresses for sizes 3T through 10 so that I could give this dress a sensory friendly tag. However, I failed to also design a separate label for the very costly 92% cotton 8% Lycra fabric in my seasonal pattern. Because of that, every tag on my premium cotton spandex jersey dresses is mislabeled as polyester spandex. 🤦‍♀️. So much for marketing. Just another day for a first time business owner.

“That’s how you catch a crab.”🦀 😎

Best and most impressively done in a convertible dress.

I was so confused by all the shuffling and direction changes at first until I saw that tiny ghost crab (her first catch!) skittering across the sand. And then the proud moment where she gently sifts and sand to find the little guy that I thought for sure couldn’t be in there.

Our active convertible dress has found itself in lots of exciting situations, but this was a first for us for sure.. and as always, followed by cartwheels.

These dresses (yes, they are dresses) were inspired and in part designed by my daughter, who just wanted to do cartwheels and handstands without changing clothes first.
Because life’s too short for “can I wear this?”—this dress is for play, movement, and living free.
