Adding “can drive a Bobcat” to my resume ✨😂

I don’t have much of an update for our home building journey. We are patiently waiting to close on the farmhouse before we can really start building.

The farmhouse is currently under contract, but we have to wait until the buyers sell their current home to close. 🫠

My husband has just been working on clearing trees at the property and preparing for our future home. Our Friday night will consist of clearing more trees, a bonfire, and some smores! 😋

In this photo my husband is teaching me how to drive! 😅

This is such a slow process, but I know it will all happen in Gods perfect timing!

The best way to save money 💰

1. Stop using your cards (credit or debit) It’s great to build credit if you pay it off weekly, but you’re swiping blindly. It’s easy to forget your transactions and monitor just how much you are really spending. Those small transactions really do add up.

2. Total up your total monthly income, take your bills out first. Break down how much you need to save to reach your goal.

3. Write down categories that you know you’ll need money for. Splurging isn’t bad if you can afford to, but you don’t need to treat yourself daily or multiple times a day. Give yourself an weekly allowance.

4. Buy some envelopes and go to the bank to withdraw CASH! Only put inside the cash you’re willing to spend that week on your category. If you run out of money, you find a way to hustle to get more spending money.

I used this method before I had kids and it really really works. After having kids it became a bit more difficult to stick to my methods, but I have big goals now so we are circling back around. It’ll be good for the kids too, they seem to think money grows on trees. 😆
