Hey friends 👋 I have an important announcement to make.
I have no doubt this will shock some of you, but it's been a long time coming. I didn't want to acknowledge it for awhile so I kept shoving it back down and pushing through, but once I allowed myself to sit with my feelings, work through them, and pray about it, the answer became obvious. So, here goes nothing.......🫣
Kongar + Co is closing.
Saying that makes me sad, but overall I'm more excited about what the future holds. I was a shy teenager right out of high school when I started this business, and a lot of life has happened since then! 💑🏡 I've basically grown up with this business. 8 years is a long time to live my life through the lens of social media.
I'm going to try to answer all the potential questions I expect you to have 😉 But if I miss one just ask!
📆OFFICIAL CLOSING DATE:
I'm giving you ladies a couple months to stock up your closets and help me move out my inventory, so I'm shooting for September 30 as my deadline for an empty office. That means we have two full months to find your unicorns and fill your closet!
🔖CLEARANCE SALES:
Yes, there will be discounts to help move my current inventory. Sales will start on my website today at 5PM Eastern. Discounts do not apply to borrowed items, such as takeovers, unicorn hunts, or virtual catalogs.
📦NEW STYLES:
There might still be some new styles coming in to the boutique this month, if I think it's a style that you ladies would love to shop while I'm still here. Brand new inventory cannot and will not be discounted.
⏭️FUTURE PLANS:
I'll share my new adventure with you later on, but I have zero plans to sell another product. I will be working outside my home.
💖LULAROE:
I'll forever be grateful for the experiences, growth, and connections I've had because of this company, so it will always hold a special place in my heart. The people at home office are doing what they can to keep improving and strengthening LuLaRoe, as they have been for years. It's just time for me to let it go and move forward.
❓️WHY:
There are many things that contributed to this decision, and it was not a quick decision made overnight. A lot of things all kind of culminated into a realization that I had been holding on too tightly when it was time to let it go. The physical and mental space this business takes up has challenged me over the last 8 years, and I've reached a point where moving on brings me much more peace than the idea of trying to build it back up again. Selling off my inventory and having a regular paycheck will help us reach our financial goals more quickly. Being able to clock out and not have work looming in the next room will help to make our house the escape that we need it to be. There were many factors that I considered but it all came back to the same conclusion.
🛍FINDING A RETAILER:
For those who want to continue shopping LuLaRoe, but don't know any other retailers, I will be making a post after I officially close to refer you to some of my most trusted retailer friends who I know will take good care of you. No need to rush that though, I'm still here for a little while 😉
Now that you've read all of this 😅 I hope you understand where I'm coming from. I'll miss serving all of you through clothing, but I definitely wish to stay connected with you 🫶
