We are having a spaghetti dinner fundraiser and raffle to raise money for Lexi's extensive trip to Mayo Clinic in Minnesota.

Lexi was recently diagnosed with Generalized Dystonia. Her particular neurological disorder causes severe pain on the left side of her body. It also causes speech problems, memory loss, dizziness, headaches, fatigue, and severe pain throughout the body. Dystonia is a movement disorder that causes muscles to contract and spasm involuntarily. The neurological mechanism that makes t
he muscles relax does not work properly. The involuntary muscle contractions force the body into repetitive and often twisting movements as well as awkward, irregular positions. These movements take place 24 hours a day and cannot be stopped. The movements wake her several times throughout the night. This chronic disorder causes a varying degree of disability and pain from mild to severe. There presently is no cure for dystonia, but several treatment options exist. We are going to Mayo to get more treatment options for Lexi.
