Many years ago, a very good friend said that I should start making tutus for girls. After some persuasion, and with her help, I made and sold my first tutu. Exactly 11 years ago today, I announced the start of Fia Bella Boutique and now 11 years later, Fia Bella has tied their last bow. It’s been an amazing run. We had a blast, worked some awesome fairs and events, and met so many wonderful people.
Fia Bella would not have lasted over a decade without the support of family and friends who helped watch the girls for many, many hours and for many, many weekends. Special thanks to the one who helped us work events when we needed extra man power. A tutu never looked so good on an adult woman. We had lots of laughs. Thank you.
Fia Bella wouldn’t have lasted without the support of all our loyal customers who referred me to their family and friends over and over and who came back to me for every bow they needed. I loved watching your girls grow from babies to when they were “too old for bows.” Thank you.
Most importantly, Fia Bella would not have lasted without the backbone, the man behind the scenes who helped with every business aspect that needed to be taken care of…my COO, CEO and CFO. The man who got up before the sun rose to set up our tent at fairs, the man who gave up his weekends, the man who stayed up many, many late nights helping me, the man who knows how to pack a trunk Iike a Tetris puzzle better than anyone I know. To the man who supported this idea and pushed me to succeed…thank you. Fia Bella would never have lasted 11 years without you.
Thank you everyone from the bottom of my heart. 💗
