It's a great beginner friendly backpacking spot with a 20 mile loop

(my wife's first time backpacking was here and that's when the obsession started 😂 )

Crater Lake National Park the deepest, bluest, and clearest Lake in the US and deepest volcanic Lake in the world at 1,943 feet!

This was the bluest body of water we have ever seen, the photos don't do it justice.

We hiked in the morning and then spent the rest of the day hanging out by the water. Yes the water was freezing at 55 degrees but when at Crater Lake you have to say you got in, It's all part of the experience!

All I can say is this National Park is a mix of the Flinstones and Dr. Seuss and is such a unique place to explore!

Had to make this one of our stops while in Oregon!

Multnomah falls is Oregon's tallest waterfall 620 ft , known for its two tiers and the historic Benson bridge (1914) that you can walk on to check out the falls up close. Fun fact this spot was a backdrop in the movie Twilight.

So worth checking out!
