Haven’t posted here in a while! This is the headpiece I made last year for my “Rabid Perfume” album cover. That was a ballerina pink tulle and I dyed the edges a darker fuchsia. I wanted it to look like an abstract rose. Inside is actually a helmet. The piece is quite sturdy and stands up on its own due to the amount of tulle packed on there. It is much more than just a tutu. ☺️

This is the “quick” costume I made for my role as Marie in “Mister Sister” that we shot in March and have been working on the last few years to get ready. Marie is a waitress at a drag bar called “Peacocks” in the film. I decided not to do full peacock feathers but to elude to the color scheme and use some bleached and then dyed peacock feathers on the headdress. (When I say quick costume I mean it took a month and there are certain elements I embellished but did not make from scratch. FYI) Can’t wait for you to see it! Photo by

From - 3/10/2019 MORE. Glorious back shot. Part of the pre-wedding bridal shoot I did with I really wanted to make sure we captured all of the hard work I put into "La dame beaucoup d'amour". Yes, my friend Jolie and I named the dress. She is ALIVE. She sparkles at every twist and turn, her color changes in every light due to the painstaking amount of time I spent to dye each piece of that train a different color with I purposefully left it see-through so it would change color when the light shined through. I want to post all the photos but will try to limit it to a few a day. 😉 Dress by -

Re-share from - Are you ready? This confectionary couture creation was designed, sewed and solely created by me over 4 months time. Photo by the wickedly talented Heidi Calvert who is a friend who introduced me to my new husband Wed on 3/10/2019. Each piece was hand dyed and sewed onto the train. I lost count of how many baths she took. There are layers and layers of shades of tulle to add tone and texture. She looks different under every shade of light. Dare I say 50 shades of blush? Blush, champagne, peach, and pink grapefruit are all shades in this scrumptious color palette. There are photos where she is the softest shades, sometimes golden, and others where she was shining bright. Ostrich feathers, pearls, rhinestones, golden embroidery and carefully cut apart and reassembled appliques adorn her. As I was working on her I joked that she was alive and kept demanding MORE loveliness before I dare call her complete. She is after all, a piece of art. Spevial thanks to for creative moral support. 😉

Close up and quick video of the bouquet for my wedding dress. I call it a bouquet scepter fan. Because really I wanted all three! The scepter part was for Freddie Mercury. I think I should have made that handle longer so that part was clearer. 😉 I used fabrics and embellishments from the dress. I explain this and more in the video. Shots of the dress that goes with this soon! This was a labor of love that I worked on for 4 months.

I made this costume for my job as a costume model. From - Can-can! Finally complete after several weeks. I caught that dreaded cough so it slowed me down for a month. I made the cancan skirt and hat. I sewed on every single ruffle and hand dyed it a sunset ombre. Can't wait to get some real pics of It! 👠😍😜📸💋😘 -

Updating my costumes for work. Gah.. if you saw how quickly I did this.. even I didn't realize the shortcuts for making something like this look so amazing in a short amount of time. I dyed the feathers from white to a rose gold color. I would say that was the most difficult part.Thank you You-tube! Some amazing content on there for us costume model girls that need to save money and time.
