I always struggle with indecision. Turns out there are so many turns and routes you can go, but I realize now, tons of little decisions add up to something worth deciding for! Just make the darn decisions and start following your own path!

podcast has been a saving grace for helping me with decision making . I would recommend this podcast to anyone! All the life knowledge to be a sane human! Sanity is fun!

World Su***de Prevention Day

I already knew su***de rates were going up, I knew that the ages were getting younger and younger, but this summer I witnessed something that hurts me still!

My kids and I were swimming at our apartment pool. A bunch of 9-12 aged boys were throwing each other in for fun. One got hurt and got mad. He began yelling “I’m going to end my life, I’ll just go cut my wrists, I hate myself.”

Sadder yet, the boy he was yelling at said, “don’t do it man I tried it and it was not worth it.”

The worst part, I tried to confront the boy and calm him down in the moment, but that’s all I did! The management came and kicked them out for not being with an adult. I don’t know what that boy went home to. I know nothing.

The following day I was out shopping and there was a gentleman with a table set up raising money to bring education to schools on su***de in children. I wanted to give him all the money, cry, stand by him, hug him, you name it any kind of help I know it’s needed.

We can’t help everyone, I know that, but you all, let’s start by educating our own kids, becoming aware of signs to look for, being cautious of how much screen time we are allowing, doing thought work with our kids, finding time to focus on them, teaching them about bullying and social media, making sure they are getting exercise and fresh air! Overall teaching them kindness!

Shower a person or people of choice with kindness for one week! October 4th-10th!

Have fun with this. We like to send letters, give flowers, leave dinner at someone’s door, bring coffee to someone, set up a treasure hunt for someone else’s family, ect. So many ways to show love, get creative!
