Ladybug's Cabin Creations I am a Montana quilter, pattern designer and textile artist living on the shores of the beautiful Swan River. My home studio/shop is open by appointment.

Send me a message if you'd like to stop in! My work includes traditional quilting techniques, appliqué, and thread painting, along with fabrics I hand-dye and paint. Many compositions include three-dimensional objects with a variety of fibers and textures. I’ve also be designing quilting and applique patterns with a focus on state flowers, and our beautiful National Parks. I am one of the featured

local artists Sassafras gift shop and gallery located in Historic Downtown Kalispell on main street. I also teach a variety of classes in textile art and do custom quilting work. What a joy to spend this beautiful day with some members of the Stumptown Quilter's Guild. I came up to teach them the fun of adding 3D petals to thread painted flowers. It was the first time some had used their free motion foot on their machine and I think they smashed it out of the park! Thanks for showing up with glad hearts and ready to play!

I received the sweetest note today from someone who had discovered, loved and shared some of my thread painted wooden spool ornaments a while back and was excited to discover some more (along with some of my new MT framed and snowflake framed ornaments) at Area 56 Emporium in Eureka this weekend. (bonus that they live and are sharing my work in Ireland...how I wish I could deliver them personally!) I love what I do and am so fortunate to create for a living...but it really does mean so much when people reach out to let me know that what I make resonates with them, and that something I spent time creating will be cherished for years to come.

All set up for the Teakettle Quilt Guild show tomorrow (Sat April 18th). Show is from 9am to 3:45 and it is free to get in! (although if you want to bring a donation for the Columbia Falls food bank they will be every so grateful!) Stop by and say hello! (and check out some sale fabrics that I brought with me!)
