Welcoming Angela Howe of Choke Cherry Creek to the Billings Pride Festival Indigi-Market!
Angela Howe is the artist and designer behind Choke Cherry Creek, a contemporary Indigenous fashion brand rooted in Apsáalooke culture and identity. A member of the Apsáalooke (Crow) and Pikuni (Blackfeet) Nations of Montana, her work blends traditional design elements with modern silhouettes, creating ready-to-wear pieces and handmade gowns featuring beadwork and cultural expression.
Known for bringing fashion, storytelling, and community together, Angela uses her work to uplift Indigenous voices and celebrate living culture. Her designs have been featured on runways including New York Fashion Week, Vancouver Indigenous Fashion Week, and Paris Indigenous Fashion Week, and are part of an international museum collection in Sweden.
Through Choke Cherry Creek, Angela continues to create space for Indigenous representation, honoring her heritage while sharing powerful stories through fashion.
