Beautifully hand-carved 16-inch-tall covered wood urn from St. Maarten, approximately 7½ inches in diameter.
This striking piece features four flowing Caribbean-inspired designs: flowers, fish, pineapples, and stylized ocean waves. It has wonderful proportions, from the substantial pedestal to the impressive carved finial.
The exterior has a soft, warm sheen, while the interior remains natural and unfinished. Photos were taken in natural light to show the wood and carving accurately.
