This past weekend was the The Kingdom of Winter's Edge Endreign at Camp Buck Toms, and I have a lot of thoughts. I went to the event not planning to vend, I was just going to finish a bunch of projects for Book of Heroes: Knights of the Very Old Republic, pickup some consignment stock, and hangout with friends. Friday, during open craft time, I sat at a table near gate, since my friends volunteered for gate and there weren't many others crafting.
People kept coming up to me and asking if I was selling the items I was working on. While I was technically only doing preorders, I had so many "onsite preorders" that they politely asked me to pay the vendor fee (which I understand, and I paid). Saturday, since I'd paid the fee, I tossed together the best setup I could with what I had, and almost sold out of most of my items. Also, it was really nice to see a lot of people using things I've made previously.
I can't thank y'all enough for all of the support of my "crafting addiction," and all the good things I have been hearing from other people about my stuff brought me to tears. The support means a lot, and I'm very fortunate to now have to squeeze 3 weeks of crafting for Book of Heroes into 3 days.
After getting home and getting unpacked, my "lead packaging inspector" was caught sleeping on the job, so he got to model some merchandise. No slacking off Lemon, we've got work to do.

P.S. if you've made to the end of my sappy post, please make sure youve liked & followed me here and on Ko-fi. If I have anything left after BOH, I plan to post it on my website within a week or two afterwards. Please also check out my linktree for affiliates to help support more of my work. I'm nowhere near able to go full time with vending yet, but my dream is to retire from the corporate world and pursue a career where the first goal is to make cool stuff while sharing the profits with my friends who help make it happen.
