1. Custom Couture: This experience includes designing, developing, and constructing a garment f
rom idea and sketch to a final three dimensional functional garment. We create something specifically for the client, and each individual will work side by side with Ashley. Our goal is for our client to walk out of the SYC studio in her custom couture, should she choose, no alterations needed.
2. Garment Reinventions: We take something old- whether it be a grandmother's gown, a mother’s wedding dress or a grandfather’s blazer- and reconstruct it into something contemporary to reflect each client’s personality. This includes but is not limited to: getting ready robes, debutante gowns from older sisters, or simply modernizing the original piece.
3. High End Alterations: We alter the garments in which you would not want a dry cleaner to touch. We specialize in reconstruction of garments, adding beading and applique, embellishments, and/or creating sleeves to a strapless debutante gown, reconstructing wedding dresses, & mother/grandmother of the bride/groom gowns, etc. Our expert team has over 80 years of experience, ensuring a perfect fit every time.
