Join us on October 14th at Oak Mountain State Park for our annual Harvest Festival! The festival will be held in the South Trailhead Field from 9am until 2pm!
Parking will be available in the South Trailhead parking lot, Cedar Pavilion, and at the Playground parking lot! (Additional parking can be found on the side of Terrace Dr. from the field down to the beach parking lot.)
Fun for ALL ages! Shopping! Family Friendly! Pets Welcome (they must be on a leash)! Free Guided Hike at 12pm! Yard Games! Free Hay Rides from 9am until 2pm! Music! Food!
Food vendors include Swamp Monster BBQ , Monzy's Deli , Pazzo Big Slice Pizza and Pazzo Calzone Bakery , Naughty But Nice A Kettle Corn Co. , Bama Wild Dogs and Burgers !
The Alabama Wildlife Center will be on site wth some of their beautiful education birds of prey, and will be providing an educational talk at 10am at the Presentation Tent!
We also have the Oak Mountain Interpretive Center attending with some of their snakes and turtles! They are also providing an educational talk at the Presentation Tent! Theirs will be at 11am! All educational talks are complimentary and open to the public! We are excited to have Treeline Expeditions LLC joining us this year! They will be hosting a guided hike for everyone at noon!
This is going to be a fun event for the whole family we hope you don't miss!!
Mountain High Outfitters will be on site with custom campsite layouts created just for our Harvest Festival! They are going to demo TONS of new camping gear for fall! Just a few examples of gear they will have for demo and purchase are tentsile tree tents, Helinox camping chairs, a Slackline setup for you to try, and tons of fun camping games like Spikeball!
Pony Rides will be provided by the Rusted Roof Barn for $5 each (cash only) and pcitures with our local unicorn for $1 each (cash only)!
Regular Park Entry Fees Taken at Gate. CASH ONLY at gate!
Ages 3 and Under- FREE
Age 4-11 are $2 each
Age 12-61 $5 each
Age 62 and Up- $2 each
Entrance Fees are Valid for the entire day! So come out and play, shop, learn, and then enjoy the park for the remainder of the day!
Directions:
From Front Gate- Continue on John Findlay Dr for 2.3 miles and take your first right onto Terrace Drive. Once on Terrace Drive, go another 1.7 miles until you see the Festival Field on your left.
From Back Gate- Continue on John Findlay Drive for roughly 5.5 miles. Take a left onto Terrace Drive. Once on Terrace Drive, go another 1.7 miles until you see the Festival Field on your left.
