I would like to address a recent 1 āļø review I received that has some very misleading and also untrue comments attached.
First, this customer did not wait (on me) for a month. Her order was made and shipped within the allocated timeframe that is noted on the listing. If the post office took longer than usual to deliver I have no control over that.
Second, she claims all I responded with was āare you sureā. I most certainly didnāt. And I waited around for a couple hours for her to respond and then went to bed when she hadnāt.
When I got home from work the next day I checked my emails only to find that she had filed a claim with Etsy, saying the flag was damaged.
The flag was not damaged in the photos I took before the flag left my office, and this customer mentioned nothing being wrong with the envelope the flags come in (which are rip stopper poly mailers, industry standard). So Iām not sure how it would be damaged between here and there with no damage to the outside envelope, but it doesnāt look damaged to me.
I had planned to respond back and let her know I would replace, but I wanted the flag back so I could inspect it.
I was going to put a prepaid label in with the new flag for her to use send the flag she had back, thatās what I do to most things that have damage so I can figure out how it happened so it doesnāt happen again.
Fact is, this flag does not look damaged tho. I see no ācutā in the fabric .. it appears to have had a crease in the fabric and the white marks are where the crease was too thick for the ink to pass thru (which happens sometimes with sublimated items and is why I have this specifically noted on each listing where I am selling sublimated items). But as you can see from my photo from even a short distance away you canāt even see the crease unless you are really zoomed in on it.
Still tho, I would have replaced it had she just given me time to reply. Normally if I notice a white spot that looks really bad I remake the item anyway; because I donāt like how it looks (I have tons of these items in a box that I donate if people want them, and you can buy them on my page as seconds for steeply discounted prices .. because ultimately it isnāt seen from a distance anyways).
Iām sorry I donāt stay awake 24/7 ready to reply to messages. I have to sleep and I have a full time job during the day as well (also discussed on my Etsy shop if people bother to look and read); sometime it takes me a few hours to respond.
