Us humans spend an incredible amount of time seeking love.

Looking for it in relationships.
Experiences
Love songs
Churches
Teachers
Gurus
Other people's approval
Assigned from the universe

Very human, honestly.

Meanwhile, Yoga keeps whispering the same thing over and over again:

What you're seeking isn't "out there."

Is it possible we simply forget that we are already made of the very thing we keep searching for?

Love.

The real kind.

The kind that stays with you even at your most unlovable disconnected chaotic reactive, unrecognizable self.

Because underneath all that...

there you are.

Set Your Intention:
Remember what you already are.

Love. 🩷🧘🏻‍♀️

Feeling the yoga, all day long. ✨🦥

05/17/2026

It’s my birthday and this is my wish:

May we each find the quiet in our minds and the calm in our bodies.

Lately I’ve seen so many conversations about not suppressing emotions, not holding yourself back, not pretending to be okay when you’re not. And I agree.

Sometimes getting to a quiet mind requires screaming first.
Sometimes getting to a calm body requires shaking, crying, grieving, raging, resting.

We are not meant to bypass what moves through us.

But there also comes a moment when we let the energy settle.
Like shaking out a rug in the sun, the dust flies everywhere at first, floating wildly in the light, and eventually it becomes still again.

Maybe growth is realizing we don’t have to stay tangled in every feeling forever.
That emotions can move through us without taking us completely away from ourselves.

And maybe each time life moves us through something difficult, we return to ourselves a little sooner.
We loosen our grip a little faster.
We trust ourselves a little more.

It’s my birthday today and I’m still rebirthing this idea of quiet mind, calm body. Still learning to give myself exactly the amount of time I need to come back to myself each time.

Experience teaches us there is always a way through.
Growth teaches us that how we move through can evolve.

🙏🏼✨🩷

Maybe that’s maturity.
Not becoming smaller, quieter, or less feeling,
but becoming less afraid of stillness.

I will seek ease on the mat.

I will ease into my body.
I will ease into the shapes my body takes.
I will pay attention to how ease makes me feel
and how force makes me feel.
I will seek the balance between the two.
I will move towards what feels good in my body.
Sometimes doing things with ease doesn't necessarily mean it's easy. But the attitude of practicing ease and the concept of making life easier off the mat starts on the mat.

Ease is often mistaken for easy.

But ease is not the absence of effort.
It’s the absence of force.

There’s a difference between moving with something and trying to push yourself into a shape, a feeling, an outcome, or a version of yourself that simply isn’t aligned.

We’ve been taught that struggle means growth. That if something comes naturally, softly, or intuitively, it somehow counts less. But yoga teaches something different.

We practice strength and flexibility not just in the body, but in the mind.
And why?

Because a strong, flexible foundation creates space.
Space to trust.
Space to breathe.
Space to stop gripping so tightly to figuring everything out.

A rigid mind fights for answers.
A spacious mind allows clarity to arrive.

Ease is not giving up.
It’s learning when to stop forcing and start listening.

Sometimes the moment you stop wrestling with life is the moment it finally begins to speak back.

The shapes we take shape us.

Not just physically, but in the way we meet ourselves.

Every time I step into a pose, there's an opportunity to be present. To notice my breath. To feel what's actually there.

To stay, even when it's uncomfortable.

Or when it's easy and I want to move past it.

It's not about the shape itself. It's how you show up in it. That's the practice.

Being with yourself, no matter what shape you're in. On the mat, and everywhere else.
