What Are Interl***al Pads?

Interl***al pads are small pieces of soft fabric that sit comfortably between the l***a to help absorb light menstrual flow, spotting, discharge, or minor bladder leaks.

Unlike traditional pads, interl***al pads don’t attach to underwear. They stay in place naturally and can be used on their own during very light flow days or alongside cloth pads, period underwear, menstrual cups, or discs for extra protection.

Many people love interl***al pads because they:

• Help catch leaks before they reach your underwear
• Add backup protection for cups and discs
• Can reduce the feeling of dampness
• Are reusable and easy to wash
• Take up very little space in a purse or pocket

Because every body is different, it may take a little practice to find the fold and placement that feels most comfortable for you.

Small, simple, and surprisingly versatile, interl***al pads are one of the most underrated tools in reusable menstrual care.

Let’s normalize talking about periods without embarrassment.

They’re normal.
Postpartum recovery is normal.
Needing comfortable products is normal.

The more openly people talk about these things, the easier it becomes for others to find solutions that actually help them.

If someone introduced you to reusable products, tag them below and show them some love.

Did you know many people report LESS irritation after switching away from disposables?

For some, the fragrances, plastics, and materials in conventional products can be rough on sensitive skin.

Reusable cloth pads offer a softer alternative that many people find more comfortable for long wear.

Everyone’s body is different, but comfort matters.

What’s the biggest thing you look for in period products?

“Are cloth pads hard to wash?”

Honestly? Easier than most people think.

Quick rinse.
Wash with your regular laundry.
Dry and reuse.

That’s it.

People are often surprised by how simple reusable care products actually are once they get into a routine.

If you’ve ever considered switching but had questions, drop them below or message the page. We’re happy to help without judgment.

A reminder that reusable period products are not “one size fits all.”

Some people prefer ultra thin pads.
Some want heavy overnight protection.
Some need postpartum support.
Some just want something comfortable for everyday spotting.

That’s why variety matters.

Your period care should fit YOUR body and YOUR life, not the other way around.

Tell us your must-have feature in a cloth pad:
Softness? Absorbency? Size? Cute prints? Snap security?

Most people don’t realize how uncomfortable disposable pads actually are until they switch.

Cloth pads are softer, more breathable, and designed to move with your body instead of against it. No plastic feeling. No weird bunching. No loud wrappers in public bathrooms.

If you’ve been curious but hesitant, ask your questions below. Seriously. We love helping people figure out what works best for them.

And if you already use cloth pads, what made you switch?

Most people don’t really think about how much menstrual products cost over the course of a year.

But when you add it up, disposable pads and tampons typically cost around $120 to $200 annually. Over a decade, that becomes a much larger ongoing expense for something that is used once and thrown away.

Reusable cloth pads from Made by Mother LLC offer a different option to consider. They are designed to be washed and reused for years with proper care, which can reduce both recurring costs and household waste.

Many people also find that switching to reusable options helps them feel more in control of their routine, with fewer last-minute store runs and less reliance on constantly repurchasing single-use products.

It’s not about one “right” choice. It’s about having more information and more options when it comes to menstrual care.
