Case Study Spotlight: Apache Nitrogen Products Inc. – Benson, AZ

Emisshield® recently helped deliver measurable results using our unsintered M-2 High Emissivity Coating (HEC) in an industrial boiler system at Apache Nitrogen.

🔥How Emisshield Can Improve Heat Sinks 🚀

A standard aluminum heat sink has an emissivity (ε) of about 0.2–0.3, meaning it doesn’t re-radiate heat very efficiently. Easy to apply Emisshield® Coatings increase re-radiation 79%.

Nearly as high as a perfect blackbody (ε = 1.0). We are also resistant to 1900 Kelvin. Therefore anything coated with Emisshield re-radiates heat far more effectively across all temperature ranges. We are exploring this technology with deployable radiators for CubeSats.
