3 things you MUST check before choosing where to rent a suit:

1. Making sure the store has the inventory in store! Most shops including mom and pops tend to only have sample colors on site.

Why this matters?

On your final fitting they can’t guarantee to have the next size up or down if you decide to make an adjustment live. It’s important if you change in size or if you were measured wrong you want to be able to have the option to get the size you need and not have to have it shipped.

2. Hours of operation that are practical! Not open just 5 days a week or less.

Why this matters?

Most rental shops require the suits back next day and are only one a few hours on the weekends if at all. This is where most get you on the back end and charge late fees.

Shop at a location where they offer 2 day return, drop box options, and are open 7 days a week with later hours.

3. Read the reviews!!!!!

Don’t settle on a place you went for a friend’s wedding or where your parents went for theirs.

Why this matters?

You want to pick a place that’s consistent with their experience and product. Facebook groups as well as google reviews are a great start to looking at how a shop’s reputation holds up over the last 6-12 months. You want to pick a place that’s ALWAYS on their game not just when they have to be.
