Hello folks,..
It's been a while ("minute" for you teeners).
I just wanted to offer an update about the future. my apprentice Joshua is doing very well with his skills. He is confidently performing many repairs and learning in leaps and bounds as the time to my retirement draws nearer. I have no doubt that Josh will be able to serve your repair needs for many years to come, and it pleases me to keep our doors open for all of you. Thank you for your continued support and patronage.

As a public service I would like to dispel any rumors that the "The Old Soft Shoe" will be closing it's doors.
I will likely be retiring late this year, but I will be leaving the shop in good hands with a young man that has been my apprentice for over a year now. Joshua will have as many skills as I can instill in him and the youth serve the community for many years to come.
I will be taking a vacation from the 1st. of March to about the 16th, so the store will be operating with modified hours until my return. Please call before coming out. I want to avoid any disappointment.

I just want you all to know that I will be out of town from the 13th April through the 30th. As always I am working as hard as I can to get your orders out but I always have a backlog, and sometimes am pulled away for personal matters. Thank you for your patience and patronage over the years.

Hello my dear customers,
I trust that many of you are already aware of my new location on the square. I have seen some of you here. Thank you for sticking with me and for your patience through my move.

I'm almost finished moving, It's been a long hard move, but nearing the finish line. Thank you all for your patience and understanding.

Hello my friends and customers,
I am well into moving my store to the new location on the square. Most of my machines have been relocated and I have been bouncing back and forth between the two places in an effort to still get repairs done while taking 13 years of clutter down to a manageable fraction because my new store is much smaller than it was. This makes it a bit harder for you to catch me at the store but fear not. I will be more diligent in calling you when your orders are finished. My move will be complete by the end of July. The new address is 40 Town Square, Blairsville GA. In the Rogers building all the way in the back. The phone remains 706-745-1982.
I also want to take this opportunity to respectfully ask you all to please honor my attempt to keep us safer from the worsening covid 19 pandemic by requiring that all who come in the shop where a mask for the short time it takes to do our business. Let's please try to help one another avoid getting sick or worse losing a loved one. Our country's medical professionals are doing their very best to find treatments that will help us stay safer while our bodies develop immunity to this novel strain of corona virus. I thank you in advance for your cooperation in this effort.
