And we did it!!! Something the seemed like a never never never ending task is DONE! Pictured here is just a small portion of the 1,100 cookies for the today, being delivered now. Now now, I know what you’re saying. “You’ve got a huge team to help you” or “you’ve got that fancy printer that prints cookies for you” and to that I say HA!! I wish. These cookies were done by hand by Bridgette and I and took us a little over a week to complete… 48 hours in total just for decorating. That’s not including the act of making the dough, rolling them out, cutting the shapes… That was all done by the hands of Vince with help from Gemma and Heidi. During our long hours of mindessly gossiping while decorating these cookies, Bridgette and I often discussed which job we’d rather have… the decorating which took 5x as long, or the cutting out of the Block M’s which took considerably less time and attention to detail. We both chose decorating because the physical workout of being the cookie baker, while much quicker, is much more intensive.

At any rate, I’m so happy this order came into our little bakery, I’m grateful I have a very small but very mighty team to help tackle it, and I’m grateful that it’s done! Until next time, which is only a week away and another 700 cookies 🙃
