Come home to Maine,
to Yourself, or really anywhere that feels soft.

As I sit by the pond writing this I feel how nature holds us so beautifully.
She can be harsh, soft, warm, brutal and brittle and also caressing. As can we.

As you travel or stay in place find a bit of softness. Soften into your grief, the joy of seeing loved ones and the creature who lives within you wanting to be held and cared for.

Just like the oak is stripped bare of its leaves strip yourself down to softness.
Let your harsh self fall to the forest floor and let it lay there in beauty, emulating the golden bed at the bottom of an oak.
