Well, I still need to plump her up, but the booth at Crazy Franks Flea Market in Mineral Point got a facelift.
We sold THREE hats while we were restocking and some really great conversations. You all know how much Mike and I love to talk 😉
Now, to keep catching up on this little fur business and make it something big. ❤️

Busy day in the fur room! Trying to get things done soon so we can shut 'er down for the season.

Zane is learning how to flesh a muskrat. This is a muskrat Mike caught this last week on a nuisance job. Nash is brushing out a sheep hide so we can send it off to the team at Driftless Tannery in Argyle. This is a sheep hide from the sheep that we brought in, finished and butchered.

A big batch of retail hats are finished so I can focus on customer orders again. Yay me!
Super proud of this group of hats. Animals that Mike skinned, fleshed and dried. We had them professionally tanned. And then we sorted them. After sorting, they were tacked, patterned, cut and sewn by me, Erica.
This business is a labor of love. We don't make millions or thousands. Heck, once you figure in what we SHOULD be paid, I don't think we even make hundreds.
But anyways, if anyone is looking for a hat made with integrity and handled with love from the get go, I've got what they need.

This dark phase coyote pelt was quite damaged. With a little ingenuity and persistence, we were able to create a unique hat. In the photos, the fur appears lighter than it actually is.
