There are moments that stop me in my tracks.

Watching Chris Chandler behind the camera. Seeing this team we’ve built doing what they love, each person bringing their own talent, heart, and artistry to the vision. It gets me every time.

To watch these pieces come to life and carry the spirit of Westerly is something I never imagined for myself. Not because I didn’t dream, but because I never knew life could become this beautiful.

It all started with this necklace. One idea. One dream. Seven years ago.

Our flagship necklace, the holster pendant. Made to order, each one crafted for a lifetime of wear.

Today, that single idea has grown into a team, a family, and a brand that feels bigger than anything I could have planned.

Every day I get to wake up and live this little fairy tale we somehow call work.

I’ll never stop being grateful.

The best part of this life is getting to build it together.

My favorite place to be is in the workshop with Chris Chandler (Second only to riding on the back of his motorcycle through France.)

We dream big. We argue over details. We push each other. We challenge each other.

But every piece we create carries a little bit of both of us, and the work is always stronger because of it.

Chris is the steadiest, most patient, and most creative person I know.

We may not always agree on the path, but we’ve learned that the magic lives somewhere in the middle.

Always better together.

The world celebrates the highlight reel, but the most beautiful things are built slowly, quietly, and with intention.

This shoot with and captures a feeling we’ve been longing for—a return to stillness, to simplicity, to timeless beauty.

A reminder that not everything needs to shout to be seen.

That quote has been on my mind since Fringe & Fortune Nashville.

At the end of the day, a brand is so much more than the products it sells. It’s the people, the conversations, the connections, and the memories created along the way. Community and culture aren’t built through transactions, they’re built through relationships.

The magic of Fringe & Fortune came from every person who walked through the door, every artist who shared their gifts, every conversation, every laugh, every hug, and every moment spent together.

To everyone who attended, supported, performed, created, painted, styled, shared, and believed in what we’re building,thank you. You are the reason this event was such a success.

We left feeling incredibly grateful, inspired, and reminded that the most valuable thing we can create isn’t a product…
it’s a feeling.

Chris and Dena.
The founders, the owners, the makers, the shippers, the photographers, the designers, the dreamers. The ones sweeping the floors at midnight and back in the workshop at sunrise. Every piece that leaves Westerly has fingerprints on it. Blood, sweat, long nights, hard conversations, laughter, and a whole lot of love stitched into every seam.

Two years ago, we were living full time in a bus with our babies, chasing a dream that felt a little crazy at times. Somewhere along the way, we broke down in Tucson and life rerouted us toward Sedona, Arizona. What felt like a setback turned into the biggest blessing of our lives.

We built a workshop from the ground up. A place filled with music, leather scraps, coffee cups, sewing machines running all day, and people we genuinely love being around. Today, we have three incredible people working alongside us who have become such an important part of this journey and this little family we’ve created.

Some days are exhausting. Some days are uncertain. But we never take for granted how lucky we are to wake up every day and create with our hands beside one another.

Westerly was built on grit, creativity, and believing that beautiful things take time. And somehow, through all the chaos and hard work, we built a life we once only talked about inside that old bus.

We feel incredibly blessed to be here. 🤍
