Wheels! I have always like building wheels. I find it really satisfying to take a pile of parts, having no purpose independently, and making them into a functional component. In an effort to stay connected to the cycling industry, while not making the leap to working full time in the biz, I have expanded my fledgling small business to include building custom wheels for all types of riding. I launching with what I call Wednesday Wheels - a series of wheels made with quality components from top manufacturers. The purpose and spec of the wheels is chosen by me and I am offering these ready made options at a great value every Wednesday. Some of the components may have wear from being sourced in the dusty corners of the globe but they will always new, unused and 100% functional. There are no shortcuts taken in building these wheels, and I spend a ton of time exorcising my OCD demons making sure the final product will bring many miles of enjoyment to the customer.
This week’s feature wheel set is a pair of 650B Velocity Aileron rims laced to DT 350 Centerlock through axle hubs. Perfect for the road plus curious rider in your life. These wheels will excel on those rides that take you across many different surfaces and can handle everything you throw at them. They can be yours for just $600.

This edition of is a mother of a gravel crusher. The hubs are White Industries Centerlock Disc, 28 holes in black - 15x100 TA front, 12x142 TA rear. Both front and rear are laced 3 cross to DT Swiss XR361 rims, an awesomely light offset disc only rim well suited to XC MTB, cyclocross or gravel road rides. Holding it all together are Sapim CX Ray bladed spokes and DT Swiss alloy ni***es. The complete set weighs 1558 grams and will ride xtra smooth with the low pro rim! Price is $850 plus shipping. This edition of is a front wheel with a dynamo hub to power compatible lighting set ups. The hubs is a Kasai Centerlock Disc, 32 holes in black - 15x100 through axle, laced 3 cross to a Stan’s No Tubes Iron Cross disc rim. This is a relatively light set up well suited to gravel and dirt road touring. Holding it all together are Sapim Force butted spokes and brass ni***es. Add a light and ride all damn day!
