It might look like I am harvesting pears or gathering nuts for winter, but I was pruning shoots so the satellite signal won't be interrupted while I knit this winter. My vest is knit from Jaggerspun 2/8 wool. The pattern stitch is adapted from Stitchworld patterns, using DAK 8. The vest is lined with lightweight wool fabric and trimmed with bias wool strips and Ultrasuede. The closure on the front is a chunky zipper. Interested in more photos? Please like and share.

first day of fall

This is the first front for a cardigan to exhibit at the Boundary County Fair. Bulky machine, hand-knit ribs, knit on band and pocket. Whoops, it is a woman's and I forgot buttonholes so Accidental creative design will determine the closures. Yarn is commercially spun from Kate Painter's wool that she sells on Etsy. Beautiful to work with. Better get back to knitting, the fair is less than 2 weeks away!

I knit these tubular socks with Jagger Spun Mousam Falls Sock Yarn on my standard knitting machine and ribber. I added woolly nylon while shaping the toes and heels. The yarn is waxed, knits like a dream, machine washes and tumble dries. They are so comfortable. Good selection of colors. The yarn will be a staple in my yarn closet!
