I took the day off to make something beautiful. I chose to focus on creativity instead of productivity. Cuddles and movies and sugar and fresh air and fabrics were exactly what I needed.

Hello, old friends! Just a quick check-in to let you know I miss you. 🍂 I’m still creating, albeit differently and more slowly. Seasons change and maybe one day this space will look a bit more like it used to. But for now, I’m embracing this moment and trying to appreciate the gifts this particular season affords.

Hi! It’s me! Your friendly neighborhood doll maker. 💕 As it’s been a VERY long time, I thought a bit of an explanation was due. Here’s a photo of me, looking extra-super-duper happy to counteract the I-don’t-really-want-to-say-it-out-loud kind of announcement.

After so many years of creating for you and getting to know you and making beautiful things for you and hearing your stories, it’s time to step away from this venture.

Sebastian Design has operated in three different states and two different countries over the span of 11 years. It has been THE BEST job I could have ever asked for. Only something truly incredible could have persuaded me to make this change. Before this, I could never understand why small, handmade, slow-batch shops would close when the maker’s passion and talent was so obvious. But now I get it. (Hello, health insurance and a 401k! 😜) My current work situation is a place I see staying forever and has given me amazing opportunities. If I loved it less, I wouldn’t be leaving Sebastian Design behind. But there is a season for all things. And I can only be grateful that I got to spend so many seasons with you.

Thank you from the bottom of my heart. You have supported me and my ‘ohana in more ways than you will ever know. I cannot ever adequately express my gratitude.

Restock THIS FRIDAY! Please read as this has allllll the info:

♥ 7:00 pm ET on Etsy.

♥ This doll features a NEW body pattern and I just love it! She’s long and lithe and I adore it.

♥ While this is a witchy little doll, there are no overt Halloween prints or patterns. All of the fabrics are floral and nature-inspired or sweet geometrics. There’s a definite fairy vibe as well. Perfect for any time of year!

♥ Each doll will come with a reversible petal dress, a shimmery cape, a witch hat, a pom pom bonnet, leggings, and booties. She will come presented in a windowed display box with a dust bag for storage.

♥ There are 8 total dolls.

♥ This is my last restock for the year. As sad as that makes me, I have to be realistic and have my sights set on some fun things in the new year!

♥ I think this is one of my very favorite restocks EVER. It was so fun to try something new. I have poured hours and so much love into these little darlings!
