Five years ago, we took a leap of faith.
We quit our jobs, opened a business during COVID, and chose to pursue a dream that honestly felt a little crazy at the time.
There have been incredible highs and some really hard lows. There were days we celebrated big wins, and there were days we wondered if we’d be able to keep the doors open. Small business isn’t always pretty. It’s long days, sleepless nights, sacrifices, risks, and trusting God when you can’t see what’s ahead.
People often think owning a boutique is just opening the doors every morning and spending the day with your best friend. While we’re incredibly grateful we’ve gotten to build this together, the reality is that it has been one of the hardest things we’ve ever done.
In these five years, we’ve welcomed three babies, celebrated a marriage, navigated life’s ups and downs, and somehow kept showing up every single day.
And through it all, God has been faithful.
This year especially, He’s opened doors we never imagined possible. Doors we’ve prayed for, waited on, and trusted Him with. Looking back, it’s easy to see that His timing was always better than our own.
So this week feels extra special.
Not because we’ve made it five years, but because of what those five years represent: faith, perseverance, friendship, growth, and a whole lot of grace.
To every customer, employee, friend, family member, and person who has supported LOA along the way—thank you. You have been part of this story, and we are so grateful.
Here’s to five years of LOA. 🤍
And here’s to trusting God’s plan for whatever comes next. ✨🤍
