Please enjoy this stunning weaving hanging up at Cloth Collaborative! This piece was made by our founder Sam Fields . The weft came from a hand unwoven commercial textile that was beautifully rewoven into this piece. Stunning artwork from the Cloth Collaborative community brings such a welcoming and creatively charged feel to the studio that we can't help but share.

Do you want to level up your fiber arts practice, learn new skills, and engage in community? Look no further than our Fall Fibers Cohort, which you can sign up for right now!
This Fibers Cohort will be led by Sam Fields, the cohort is designed for artists/crafts people interested in incorporating textile-based processes into their practice and or developing the skills they already have. Demonstrations, artist presentations, and critique will be structured around the needs and interests of each participant. Over the course of three months we will create a space of communal learning and sharing with the goal of deepening skills, concepts, and community. Participants will have access to frame looms, backstrap looms, a shared table loom, knitting machines, sewing machines and sergers, hot and cold water dye equipment, wet and dry felting equipment, hand equipment for knitting, crocheting, and embroidery along with some supplies. The studio will be open for studio time from 6-9pm on the Tuesdays we are not meeting. We are limited to a cohort of six participants.

Dates: September 22 , October 6 and 20, November 3 and 17, December 1

Thank you to everyone who came out to our workshop from Fleece to Finished! Starting from totally dirty unprocessed fleece, we skirted, scoured, dyed, and spun till our finished yarns came to be. I totally forgot to take pictures of all of your gorgeous yarn, but we are super proud of everything we accomplished together
