James Black formed Avenue Crew as a way to express his creativity by giving life to his passion for quality, upscale clothing. James is a graphic designer by trade and has always been more satisfied executing his art into something tangible. Rooted in the great city of Boston, Massachusetts, he started his journey by simply creating what his current wardrobe was lacking. In his last semester of co
llege, he started forming a concept in order to build his passion into a reality. He started with fundamental styles and focused on creating clean, simple lines with unique fabrics and a bold graphic branding. James is a firm believer that quality is in the details and he personally hand-chooses the fabric, color, fit, and feel of every item in production.
